The Game Story:
Providence, RI - Junior attackman Jon Thompson (Freeport, ME) scored four goals, while senior Jimmy Mormile (Oceanside, NY) and sophomore Brian Miller (Monkton, ME) scored three goals each to lead Brown to a 15-4 victory over Hartford under the lights at Stevenson Field. The win extends Brown's record to 2-2 overall, while Hartford falls to 2-2.

Brown opened a 4-0 lead midway through the second quarter on two goals by Thompson, one by Mormile, and a goal by freshman Chazz Woodson (St. George, VA). Hartford's Travis Eckler scored at the 9:55 mark of the second half to cut Brown's lead to 4-1 at the half.

Brown exploded for five unanswered goals in the third quarter to increase its lead to 9-1. Miller had all three of his goals in the third quarter outburst.

Bears' sophomore goalkeeper Mike Levin made seven of his 10 saves in the first half, before leaving midway through the fourth quarter. Rorke Greene made 14 saves in goal for the Hawks.

The Bears will be home again on Saturday against third ranked Loyola (4-0). Game time is 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson Field.
