The Game Story:
MOUNT LEBANON, Pa. - Chris Cara had two goals and five assists and Justin Sussman stopped 10 shots in Bucknell's suffocating 10-2 victory over Butler on Saturday at Mount Lebanon High School.

The Bison, who also defeated Harvard 10-2 last week, continued their stellar defensive play and improved to 2-1 on the season. Saturday Butler managed only nine shots in the first three quarters and scored only once on Sussman, who made 10 saves in 53 minutes. Sussman has made 30 saves allowed only three goals in his last 113 minutes, for a sparkling .909 save percentage.

Bucknell scored four times in the opening quarter to assume a quick lead, and Cara fed Wes Fetchet for two quick extra-man goals to start the second half. Bucknell was 3-for-3 in extra-man situations, with Cara assisting on all three tallies.

Worthy Sanders had a goal and three assists, while Fetchet, Dennis Geraghty and John Terracciano scored twice apiece for the Bison. Andrew Copelan (1 goal, 1 assist) also entered the scoring column.

Freshman goalie Matt Baran made four saves and allowed one goal in his collegiate debut in the Bucknell crease.

The Bison travel to fifth-ranked Maryland on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
