The Game Story:
HANOVER, N.H. -- Ben Grinnell and Scott Roslyn each scored a pair of goals to lead Dartmouth to a 7-3 victory against Vermont in non-league men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at Scully-Fahey Field.

The win improves the Big Green to 3-0 on the season while the Catamounts fall to 1-2. Dartmouth has won two straight contests at home and is 5-1 in its last six dating back to last season.

Dartmouth never trailed in the game as Roslyn and Brandon Wright each scored first quarter goals for a 2-0 lead. Jamie Coffin netted his sixth goal of the season at the 5:51 mark of the second and Tom Daniels scored 2:17 later to extend the Big Green lead to 4-0. Vermont finally got on the board when Mike Maher scored just 1:47 before the half.

The Catamounts' Chris Legare and Phil McKnight then sandwiched goals around Grinnell's first of the game to make it 5-3 with 10:10 remaining in the game. Roslyn and Grinnell then each scored in the final 8:07 to seal the victory.

Wright finished the game with a goal and two assists while Coffin and Daniels each had a goal and assist. Goaltender Andrew Goldstein stopped 11 shots for the win. Austin Humphries had two helpers in the contest for the Catamounts while goalie Michael Gabel made 15 saves.

Dartmouth returns to action on Saturday, March 15 in a neutral site contest against Lehigh. The game will begin at 1:30 p.m. and be played in Haverford, Pa.
