The Game Story:
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's lacrosse team outscored Drexel 8-2 in the second half to top the Dragons, 12-5, Sunday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. The Buckeyes improve to 2-2 overall, while the Dragons drop to 1-5.

OSU held a 3-0 lead after the first quarter on goals by Greg Bice, Curtis Smith and Tom Randisi. Drexel got on the board in the second quarter on back-to-back goals by Matt Musci and Andrew Tan. Curtis Smith responded with a tally to put OSU up, 4-2, but DU's Jarret Mizzi cut the Buckeye lead to one with a goal at 5:25. The teams went into the lockerroom with OSU leading, 4-3.

The Buckeyes scored five goals and allowed just one in the third quarter to put the game out of reach for Drexel. Ohio State then outscored the Dragons in the final quarter, 3-1, for the 12-5 final.

Curtis Smith led the Buckeyes with five points, on a game-high four goals and an assist. Randisi had four points, including three goals, while Pat Donohue tallied twice. Anthony Gilardi and Mike Norton each posted a goal and an assist for the Buckeyes, while Josh Lesko and Pat Myers added assists and Greg Bice had a single goal.

Tony Russo made seven saves in goal for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State scored on both of its extra-man opportunities and held the Dragons scoreless on 4-of-5 chances.

The Buckeyes return to action with a game against Army at noon Saturday (March 22) at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus. It marks the start of four consecutive home games for Ohio State.
