Harvard vs. Holy Cross

The Game Story:
The Harvard men's lacrosse team erupted for 18 goals on Tuesday night en route to an 18-5 victory over Holy Cross at Jordan Field. The win evens the Crimson's record to 2-2, while the Crusaders fall to 0-5 on the season.

Harvard was led by senior Doug Logigian's four goals, and he also added an assist to pick up five points on the night. Junior Anders Johnson and senior Mike McBride also chipped in with five points each. Johnson netted one goal and had a game-high four assists, while McBride tallied a hat trick and two assists. Senior Matt Primm also found the back of the net three times, and assisted on a goal to post a four-point night.

Trailing 4-0, the Crusaders got on the board with 23 seconds left in the first quarter when Shaun McGowan scored an unassisted goal. Billy Klotz finished the night with two tallies and Mike McKee chopped in with two assists. Chuck Rogers and John O'Sullivan also netted goals for Holy Cross.

The Crusaders' goaltenders were bombarded with 66 Crimson shots. Brian Hodgdon made 15 saves, while Dan Atchinson stopped six Crimson attempts. For Harvard, junior Jake McKenna posted five saves on the night and allowed four goals before giving way for junior John Belitsos. During his time in net, Belitsos stopped one Crusaders' shot and gave up one goal.

The Crimson will be in action again on Saturday, March 22 when it hosts Penn in its Ivy League opener. Game time is 1 p.m.
