Lehigh vs. Dartmouth
March 15, 2003
The Game Story:
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Dartmouth sophomore Ben Grinnell scored three goals as the Big Green used a strong second-half performance to defeat Lehigh, 10-5, on Saturday.

The teams were tied, 4-4, in the third quarter before Grinnell netted his second of the day for a 5-4 lead with 3:23 remaining. Just seven seconds later, junior Russell Radebaugh won the faceoff and scored for a 6-4 Big Green advantage.

Although Tony Lowe got the Mountain Hawks back within one, 6-5, at the start of the fourth quarter, the Big Green ripped off the next four. Scott Roslyn made it 7-5 with 10:44 to play, before Grinnell, Jamie Coffin and Casey Burlage added insurance markers for Dartmouth.

The win kept the Big Green's season perfect at 4-0. It's the best start for Dartmouth since the 1995 squad began the year with a 6-0 mark. In the nets, Dartmouth's Andrew Goldstein made 13 saves, while Lehigh's Tom Ellis had 12 stops.

Coffin, a Dartmouth freshman, continued his impressive rookie year with one goal and three assists. Burlage had a pair of goals for the Big Green while Justin Weinstein contributed two assists.

The game was played at the Haverford School in Philadelphia. Dartmouth is back in action on Wednesday, March 19, traveling to Baltimore, Md., for a matchup with the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
