| FOXBORO, Mass. - Top-ranked Syracuse (10-1, 3-0) bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 13-3 victory against BIG EAST foe Providence (3-8, 0-3) in the opening game of the New England Lacrosse Classic on Saturday, April 16 at Gillette Stadium. The Orange scored the last 11 goals of the game and held the Friars scoreless for the final 50:07 of the contest. Nine different players scored goals for the Orange. Senior Stephen Keogh and junior Bobby Eilers led the way with three goals each. Keogh added two assists to finish with a game-best five points.
