Sacred Heart vs. Dartmouth
March 23, 2002
The Game Story:
FAIRFIELD, Conn.- Justin Weinstein scored his first collegiate goal with 2:32 remaining in overtime to lift the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team to a 9-8 win over Sacred Heart Saturday in Fairfield, Conn.

The win improves the Big Green to 4-1, while Sacred Heart falls to 2-4. The Big Green will host Hartford on March 30 at 1:00 pm.

Sacred Heart appeared to be going in for the potential winning score when Dartmouth's Pat Keeley dove and knocked the ball free. Weinstein picked up the loose ball and raced 80 yards downfield, going untouched for the gamewinning score.

However, that wasn't all the heroics, as the Big Green netted three goals in the final two minutes of the game to send it to an extra period. Scott Roslyn would tie the game with just two seconds remaining, as Tom Daniels scooped up a loose ball and found Roslyn, who made a difficult catch in traffic, and was able to beat netminder Bryan Campo for his second marker of the contest.

After Sacred Heart's Erick Perez scored with 5:39 remaining to put Sacred Heart up, 8-5, the Big Green battled back when Russell Radebaugh scored an unassisted goal with 2:08 to play and Ben Grinnell, who scored three goals in the game, brought Dartmouth to within one, 8-7.

In the nets, Mike Gault recorded 10 saves for the Big Green, including seven in the second half and overtime, while Campo stopped 12 shots.
