Wolpert, Nally score six points apiece in 29-12 loss

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Hartford's offense exploded early in the game and never looked back as the Hawks beat Siena 29-12 Tuesday afternoon. 13 different Hawks scored goals as Hartford improved to 8-4 while Siena fell to 1-7.

Hartford scored nine goals in both the first and second quarters to put the game out of reach. Troy Wilson led the Hawks with four goals and four assists. Brian LaMastro scored seven points and B.J. LaVoie added five goals and an assist. Hartford outshot Siena 52-34 and won 29 of 41 faceoffs.

Siena was led by the sophomore combination of Dan Wolpert (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Kennedy) and Tom Nally (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park). Wolpert scored five goals and added an assist while Nally scored four goals with two assists.

The Saints take on crosstown rival Albany on Thursday. Faceoff at Siena is set for 4:00 p.m.
