| Saints offense held in check in 7-4 loss

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Wagner's defense held the Saints scoreless for over 40 minutes and
the Seahawks rallied from an early deficit to beat Siena 7-4 Wednesday afternoon.
Siena (1-11/0-5 MAAC) led 3-2 with 12 minutes left in the second quarter. However,
Wagner's (3-9/1-6 MAAC) defense clamped down and sparked five straight goals from the
Seahawks before the Saints scored with just over a minute left in the game.
Eddie Noll scored three goals for the victors while Mike Lynch added a pair of tallies. Jason
Hassler had a goal and two assists as well.
Goalkeeper John Pence (Charlotte, VT/Champlain Valley Union) kept the Saints in the game
with 18 saves. Wagner outshot the Saints 35-19. Dan Wolpert (Yorktown Heights,
N.Y./Kennedy) scored twice for the Green and Gold. Tom Nally (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings
Park) added a pair of assists.
The Saints close the regular season with a pair of home games this weekend. Siena hosts St.
Joseph's on Senior Day Saturday at 1. The Saints welcome Canisius on Sunday.
