Saint Joseph's vs. Drexel
March 6, 2012
The Game Story:
Philadelphia - Drexel scored six straight goals in the second half to take the lead and went on to defeat Saint Joseph's, 8-4 in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams. The Dragons improved to 2-3 on the season with the victory.

Robert Church led a balanced scoring attack for the Dragons with two goals and two assists. Aaron Prosser also had a pair of goals. Brendan Glynn also had a multiple-point performance with a goal and an assist.

The Dragons controlled the pace for most of the day and had the ball in the offensive end for the majority of the contest. Drexel hit the pipe on at least six occasions including two early in the contest. Despite outshooting the Hawks, 17-2, in the first period, the Dragons were unable to get on the board as the teams played to a scoreless first period. Prosser finally broke the drought in the first minute of the second period with his first goal of the day. The lead didn't last long as the Hawks scored twice in the span of 47 seconds. They held that lead until Church set up Glynn with just under six minutes left in the half. The tams would go to intermission tied at 2-2.

The Hawks (2-3) took what turned out to be their last goal of the game less than two minutes into the third quarter. Kyle Williams came from around the net and fired a shot high over Mark Manos, putting the Hawks ahead, 3-2.
