night to city rival Pennsylvania. The Quakers defeated the
Hawks 11-2 during a frigid evening on Finnesey Field's turf.

goals. Senior Scott Solow scored three goals to lead the
Quakers.
The first five minutes were scoreless as the Hawks dominated the field. At the 5:35 mark, Penn's Alex Kopicki jumped out to give the Quakers a 1-0 lead. Four minutes later Spay answered off an assist from Matt Mueller tying the game, 1-1. The Red and Blue scored two goals at the end of the first quarter, to take a 3-1 lead. During the second quarter, the Hawks were held without a goal while Penn scored four times during the 15-minute period to extend its lead to 7-1 at the half. The Hawks jumped out at the beginning of the half, playing a man-to-man defense and keeping the Quakers quiet. Penn scored only one goal in the third quarter as Solow found the back of the net for the second time at the eight minute mark. Penn iced the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring Saint Joseph's 3-1 to take a 11-1 lead. Kopicki, Solow and Zandy Reich scored consecutive goals for the Quakers. With four minutes left in the fourth quarter, Spay directed a shot into the back of the net to score an unassisted goal for the Hawks final tally.
