The Game Story:
Burlington, Vermont - Senior Kyle Hollingsworth scored a career high five goals and sophomore Andrew Feinberg added three goals to lead the 11th ranked Brown men's lacrosse team to a 16-8 victory over Vermont in a non-conference game at Moulton Field. Brown's fifth straight win gives the Bears a 6-1 overall record, while Vermont drops to 3-4 overall.

Brown led from start to finish, grabbing a 3-0 lead in the first five minutes on goals by senior Brady Williams, Feinberg and junior Thomas Muldoon. The Catamounts cut the Brown lead to 5-4 after one quarter.

The Bears shut-out Vermont in the second quarter, scoring five times on two goals by Hollingsworth, and one each by Feinberg, Williams and senior Jack Walsh to garner a 10-4 lead at the half. The Bears out-shot the Catamounts by a 26-12 margin in the first two quarters.

Brown opened up an 11-4 lead with 5:54 left in the third quarter when Hollingsworth scored on a pass from senior Reade Seligmann. The Bears settled on a 12-6 lead after three quarters following two Vermont goals and a score by Bears' senior Nic Bell.

Coach Lars Tiffany's squad coasted in the fourth quarter after goals by Hollingsworth, Feinberg and junior Jason Pohanka extended Brown's lead to 15-6. Junior Charlie Kenney scored Brown's last goal of the game with 3:40 remaining.

Senior All-American goalie Jordan Burke was sharp in goal for the Bears, making 12 saves while surrendering six goals. Sophomore Matt Chriss came into the game in relief and posted five saves.

Muldoon extended his consecutive game point scoring streak to 27 games, sixth best in the country. He scored two goals and an assist against the Catamounts.

The Bears return to action on Saturday, March 28, at home against the University of Delaware. Game time is 1:00 p.m. at Meister-Kavan Field.
