BURLINGTON, Vt. - Junior goalie Charlie Paar made 18 saves to backstop Stony Brook to a 10-8 win over Vermont in America East menís lacrosse action at Moulton Winder Field on Saturday afternoon. Senior Andrew Kelleher (Delmar, N.Y.) scored three goals for the Catamounts, who had a late rally fall short as they dropped to 4-6 (1-1 AE) with the loss. The Seawolves improved to 5-4 (1-1 AE) with the win.

Freshman Geoff Worley (Coronado, Calif.) and sophomore Liam Thomas (Spring Lake Heights, N.J.) both added a pair of goals for the Catamounts. Senior Alex Young (Cincinnati, Ohio) notched a goal and an assist. Freshman goalie Alex Plavner (Arnold, Md.) played the final 34:44 and made five saves.
