NEW HAVEN, Conn. Scott Kenworthy, Ned Britt and Colin Neville each had
three goals as the Yale men's lacrosse team beat Holy Cross 22-3 before 225
at the Soccer-Lacrosse Stadium.
The No. 18 Bulldogs (4-1), who outshot the Crusaders (0-7) 53-19, also got
two goals from Marc Perry and strong offensive showings from Seth Goldberg
(1 goal, 4 assists) and Mike Scaglione (1-3).
Roy Skeen, who faced one shot and did not have a save in the first half,
earned his fourth win in goal for the Elis. David Wright took over for the
last 30 minutes and stopped seven of the nine shots on net.
Holy Cross had goals from three different players in its most lopsided loss
of the year, while Brian Hodgdon made 11 saves before giving way to Matt
Fallon (no saves).
Yale, which hosts Princeton on Saturday at 1 p.m., was successful on 27 of
30 clears and scored two times with the man-advantage. The Bulldogs also
dominated on ground balls with a 52-33 advantage.
