The Game Story:
WALTHAM, Mass. --- Junior Brandon Spillett (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) netted six goals and added three assists as No. 2 Le Moyne upended No. 8 Bentley 12-4 in Northeast-10 Conference men's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon in Waltham.

Le Moyne, now undefeated in 43 consecutive NE-10 games, trailed 3-0 after the first quarter, but exploded for seven goals, including three from Spillett, to take a 7-4 lead into the intermission.

Bentley jumped out quick, with a pair of scores from sophomore Ryan Bouchey (Troy, N.Y./La Salle Institute) and junior Josh Kurland (Longmead/Longmeadow HS). Kurland's goal came at 1:21 of the first, and Bouchey followed with two in a row to close out the first 15 minutes.

The Dolphins wasted little time getting back in the game in the second period, reeling off four goals in the first five minutes and 12 seconds. Juniors Matt Holdridge (Syracuse, N.Y./Nottingham) and Kyle Reichel (East Syracuse, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) each recorded two goals for Le Moyne, one each in the second quarter barrage.

Le Moyne goalie Jared Corcoran (Concord, N.H.) rebounded from a rough opening quarter to make 11 saves and kept Bentley off the board for the final 33 minutes and 12 seconds. Bentley's Andrew Hartig (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo HS) made 14 saves on 34 Le Moyne shots.

Bentley fell to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play. Le Moyne remained undefeated and ran its record to 4-0, 2-0 in the Northeast-10.

Bentley is back in action Monday, March 29 against American International College in Springfield. Le Moyne hosts Bryant on Saturday at 3 p.m.
