The Game Story:
SMITHFIELD, RI ~V Bryant's freshman Bryan Kaufmann (Putnam Valley, NY) and sophomore Craig Buckhout (South Salem, NY) each scored four goals to lead Bryant to a 16-10 win over Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday evening. Bryant (7-3, 5-1 NE-10) would have a 9-5 lead going into half time as the Bulldogs out shot the Penmen 19 to 3 in the second quarter. Bryant would tack on five more goals in the third scoring three times in the last three minutes and two more goals in the fourth to win the game 16-10. Southern New Hampshire (4-4, 3-2 NE-10) would get a solid performance from junior Joe Young (Derry, NH) who had five goals and an assist to lead the Penmen. Bryant will host Merrimack on Saturday for a Northeast-10 Conference game at 1 p.m.
