The Game Story:
SYRACUSE, N.Y. ^ Sophomore Ryan Lewis (Minoa, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) scored four goals to lead top-ranked Le Moyne to a 12-6 win over No. 6 Bryant in a Northeast-10 Conference men^s lacrosse game at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex. The Dolphins (5-0, 4-0 Northeast-10) have won their last 44 consecutive league contests, while Bryant (3-3, 3-1 Northeast-10) loses for the first time in conference play this season.

After the two nationally ranked teams played to a 2-2 draw in the opening period, Le Moyne outscored the visitors 5-2 in the second 15 minutes to take a 7-4 lead into the intermission.

Two of the Dolphins^ five second quarter goals came in the final nine seconds of the period. Off a Le Moyne timeout, senior midfielder Kyle Reichel (East Syracuse, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) finished off a feed from junior Matt Holdridge (Syracuse, N.Y./Nottingham) to put the Dolphins up 6-4. Sophomore Craig Rosecrans (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) collected the ground ball off the ensuing faceoff, raced into the offensive end and fed junior Bob Tulowiecki (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) for a buzzer-beating goal at the end of the half.

Using the momentum gained at the close of the opening half, Le Moyne scored all five goals of the third period. Reichel scored once, Lewis netted a pair, Rob Trowbridge (Pierrepont Manor, N.Y./South Jefferson) tallied a man-up goal and Corey Sullivan (LaFayette, N.Y./LaFayette) scored the 12th and final goal with 30 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Jon Yuengling (Merrick, N.Y./Mepham) and Kalen Bennett (Fort Erie, Pa./Six Nations) netted goals for Bryant in the fourth quarter.

Seven different players scored goals for Le Moyne. Steve Coppinger (Bethesda, Md./Brighton Academy) led Bryant with two goals.

Le Moyne netminder Jared Corcoran (Concord, N.H./Concord) made 12 saves and lowered his NCAA Division II-leading goals against average to 4.80. Matt Lovejoy (Thorton, Pa./West Chester) made 10 saves for Bryant.

Le Moyne^s game originally scheduled for Sunday against Southern New Hampshire has been rescheduled for April 25 at 3 p.m. The Dolphins return to action on Wednesday at Saint Anselm.
