Mercyhurst vs. Lees-mcrae

The Game Story:
Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst College men's lacrosse team jumped out to a 10-1 first quarter lead to coast to its fourth win of the year with a 21-3 win over visiting Lees-McRae. The Lakers outshot the Bobcats 47-13 and controlled every facet of the game from whistle to whistle to improve to 4-0. Lees-McRae fell to 0-4 with the loss.

Senior Troy Ledbetter (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the Lakers with four goals, three in the first quarter alone. Jerod Felice (Adams, N.Y.) had three goals and an assist in the win. Adam Mulherin (Syracuse, N.Y.) also had a three goal performance in the win.

Junior netminder Mike Bringley (Rochester, N.Y.) picked up the win, playing 30 minutes and recording four saves. Josh Spriggs was the lone bright spot for Lees-McRae with a goal and an assist on the afternoon.

Mercyhurst will attempt to move to 5-0 on the season when it hosts St. Andrews on March 19 at noon.
