The Game Story:
MELVILLE, NY – The fourth-ranked Merrimack men’s lacrosse team remained unbeaten with a 19-9 victory over Notre Dame de Namur Friday night at St. Anthony’s High School.

Senior All-American Greg Rogowski led the way once again with a season-best 10 points, on six goals and four assists. He leads the conference with 29 goals and 47 points in seven games.

The Warriors led 4-1 at the end of the first, but Notre Dame recovered, cutting Merrimack’s lead to two at 7-5 at the half. But the Warriors came out strong in the third, scoring eight of the ten third-quarter goals, putting the game away.

Michael Balbuena scored three times and added an assist, while Sean Lavin, Jo Pisano, Kevin Laplante, and Taylor Robarts each added a goal.

Cory Spinale earned his seventh win with 12 saves, while Matt Austin stopped three shots.

Due to the game being played at a neutral site, no official stats are available at this time.

Merrimack (6-0, 2-0 NE-10) heads to American International Monday for a 4 p.m. game.
