| PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace men's lacrosse scored eight man-up goals to fly past the Yellow Jackets of American International 18-5 in Northeast-10 Conference action. The Setters improve to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the NE-10, while American International drop to 1-6 and 0-6 in conference play. The Setters scored early and often netting 13 first half goals for a 13-3 halftime lead as Justin Page (Eagan, MN/Eagan) led the first half attack with four goals, while Ryan Gregory (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) totaled two goals and three assists. Ben Volen (Mt. Airy, MD/Linganore) chipped in five assists for the half. Page finished with five goals, while Volen tallied six points on the day. In net, Timothy Matheis (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) was once again solid, recording 10 saves on the day. Pace returns to action when on Saturday, April 12 when they will host Northeast-10 Conference foe Bryant University at 1:00 pm at Pace Field in Pleasantville for Senior Day |
