The Game Story:
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- Matt Mirabito (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) finished with nine points on four goals and five assists as the Setters cruised past the Argonauts of Notre Dame de Namur University 17-9 in non-conference action. Pace improves to 5-6 on the season, while the Argonauts fall to 1-10 overall.

Mirabito led the Setters with a pair of goals and three assists in the opening half, while John Kolesar (Warwick, NY/Warwick) netted a goal and an assist as Pace raced out to an 8-2 lead at halftime.

The Argonauts rallied to start the second half as they pulled to within five goals at 10-5 with 7:50 left in the third quarter but the Setters pulled away over the final six minutes. Kolesar had three goals and one assist, while Mirabito tallied a pair of goals and one assist as the Setters pulled away and led 15-5 after three quarters. The Setters scored twice in the final quarter, while NDNU netted four goals but the Setters picked up their fifth of the season.

For Pace, Mirabito's nine points led the way, while Kolesar finished with six points on four goals and two assists. Matt Gebhardt (West Islip, NY/West Islip) tallied three points, on two goals and an assist, while

William Scioscia (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) netted a pair of goals. In net, Kevin Grady (Medford, NY/Bellport) recorded four saves in 45 minutes of action in goal for the Setters. Zak Pirro (Plano, TX/Plano) stopped four shots as he played the entire fourth quarter.

Pace returns to action on Wednesday, April 18 when the Setters will travel to Syracuse, NY for a Northeast-10 Conference game against Le Moyne College at 4 pm
