Men's Lacrosse Cruises Past St. Andrew's, 21-10

Chesapeake, MD - Freshman Wesley Green recorded four goals and six assists as the Adelphi men's lacrosse defeated St. Andrew's College, 21-10, Saturday afternoon in Chesapeake, Md. The Panthers improve to 4-1 on the season.

The contest remained close through half time, when the Panthers surged ahead in the third quarter and never looked back. Other Adelphi scorers were senior Tyler Heavenor with four goals and three assists and junior Matt Schomburg with four goals and one assist. Junior Kim Delfs also collected four goals, while junior Jesse Sorensen added three goals and one assist.

Adelphi goalie Mark Miller had 10 saves, improving to 4-0 on the season.

The Panther are back in action next Wednesday, April 16, in their first home contest of the season, facing Molloy College at 1:00 p.m. at Stiles Field.
