The Game Story:
The Wittenberg University Tigers scored twice in the final two minutes to defeat Saint Vincent by a score of 14-13 at Chuck Noll Field.

The visitors added two goals midway through the second quarter to run the lead to 6-1, before SVC mounted a comeback. Vinnie DiSantis, Pat Bursch and Wilfong scored to cut it to a 6-4 game, before the Tigers added a goal to end the first half scoring, taking a 7-4 lead into the break.

Things tightened up in a hurry in the third quarter. Mike Diggs scored just over a minute into play, then Jake Dick set up a Will DeLanoy goal two minutes later. With 7:25 left, Ryan Kearney tied the game, with help from Wilfong.

However, Wittenberg refused to quit, scoring the game's next four goals, taking an 11-7 lead, before Wilfong scored with just over 90 seconds left in the quarter to make it 11-8.

Wilfong added another goal with 12:51 left in the fourth, off an assist from DeLanoy, that made it a 2-goal game. Bursch scored just 17 seconds later to make it 11-10, then DeLanoy and Wilfong teamed again - this time with Wilfong setting up DeLanoy - to tie the game with 11:13 remaining.

Wittenberg scored three minutes later to temporarily take the lead, but Bursch evened the game at 12-12 at the five minute mark. With 2:58 remaining, DeLanoy scored off a Bursch pass, giving Saint Vincent a 13-12 lead.

With 1:15 left on the clock, Wittenberg's Mitch Cohagan tied the game, and the Tigers' Brady Christensen scored with just 26 seconds remaining to lift the visitors to the 14-13 win.

Wilfong's six points (four goals, two assists) led SVC in the day, while DeLanoy and Bursch each added three goals and an assist. Jon McMahon posted 16 saves in the net for the Bearcats (2-4).
