The Game Story:
Wingate, N.C.----St. Andrews Presbyterian College freshman attack Bobby Murray (Miami, Fla.) had four goals as the visiting Knights defeated Wingate University 11-4 in NCAA Division II lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field on the Wingate campus.



St. Andrews improves to 3-8 overall, while Wingate is 4-8 overall. The Bulldogs visit Deep South Conference foe and NCAA Division II number 10 Mars Hill College Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest. The SAPC Knights entertain number four Limestone College Saturday for a 2 p.m. Conference Carolinas encounter.



Freshman attack Riley Fink (University Park, Md.) supported Murray with one goal and a game-high three assists. Three Knights had two goals each. Junior midfielder Michael Thomas (Stevensville, Md.) had two goals and one assist for the visitors. St. Andrews outshot Wingate 31-24. The Knights won 13 of the 18 face-offs Wednesday.



For Wingate, sophomore midfield Bryan Bayliss (Lorton, Va.) had one goal and one assist. Three Bulldog teammates had one goal each.
