| The Seton Hill men’s lacrosse team broke a two game losing streak with a thrilling 11-10 overtime victory on Saturday afternoon. Dan Ruby scored 1:56 into overtime to defeat the Cardinals from Wheeling Jesuit. Seton Hill never held the lead until the over time goal as Wheeling Jesuit took a 5-4 lead going into the half and led 8-6 after three periods. Seton Hill used four goals in the fourth to tied the score at 10. Seton Hill was led by Ben Petchel, Johnny Groat and Chris Horigan each scored two goals with Petchel adding an assist on the day. Cory Struss made 13 saves to earn his third victory on the season. Seton Hill will resume action when they host Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, March 25th. |
