The Game Story:
WINTER PARK, Fla. (February 28, 2013) - After trailing by eight at the half, the Rollins men's lacrosse team battled back to rattle-off eight second-half goals, pulling to within five points of Saint Leo University, dropping a 14-9 decision in Deep South Conference action Thursday evening at Barker Family Stadium.

Rollins now stands with an overall mark of 0-4 and 0-2 in conference play, while the Lions advance to a record of 2-2 and a 2-1 league mark.

Saint Leo opened the game on an 8-0 run before Bill Pray got the Tars on the board. After falling behind 9-1 at the half, freshman A.J. Gogan started the rally for the Tars netting his second goal of the season to put the score at 10-2.

The momentum shifted for the Tars midway through the third quarter as Rollins fired off six consecutive goals. Chris Ross led the scoring barrage as he recorded three of his four goals on the night during the run and Jack Dever, Riley Robinson and Will Hauver also found the net during the hot streak.

Saint Leo outshot Rollins in the first half 19-11 but the Tars grabbed the shot lead in the second half, outshooting the Lions 34-32 overall. The Tars turned both of their extra-man opportunities into goals while the Lions failed on both of their chances.
