Endicott scored four goals in the first 7:35 of the contest to put the Polar Bears in an early hole. Bowdoin clawed back thanks to a Max Key goal late in the opening quarter and a pair of man-up tallies to start the second quarter, closing the gap to 4-3. Endicott answered with goals from Patrick Gaffney and Nick Cosco before Harry Ashforth and Mike Giordano replied for the Polar Bears, making it a one-goal game again at 6-5. But Dan Ryan scored just 1:38 before intermission for the Gulls, giving the visitors a 7-5 edge at the break. After a scoreless third quarter, Endicott put the game away with a three-goal run to open the fourth quarter. Brandon Dube scored with 3:17 remaining to cap the spurt, making it 10-5.
