The Game Story:
NEWPORT RICHEY, Fla. - The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team closed our their spring break with a convincing 14-5 win over Union. The Polar Bears (3-1) return home to face Springfield College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Leading 6-2 at halftime, a six-goal outburst in the third period lifted the Polar Bears to victory. A balanced scoring attack, led by a three-goal effort from Andy Nelson, keyed the win as starting netminder Charlie Legg was forced to make only four saves in just over 30 minutes of work. Matt Chadwick, Tom McKinley, Kevin Mullins and Matt Neidlinger all scored two goals apiece, while Connor Fitzgerald scored one and assisted on four others. Alex Weaver and Max Key also found the cage for the Polar Bears, who are ranked 13th in the latest national poll.
