| Radnor, PA - Senior Rory Friel had one goal and six assists, and senior Mark Phillips added four goals and two assists to lead Cabrini College (4-3) to an 18-7 win over Villa Julie College (3-2) in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) game on Wednesday. The Mustangs got on the board off the opening faceoff, scoring 14 seconds into the contest, but the Cavaliers roared back with nine unanswered goals before the period was over. Phillips had two goals and two assists in the run, and Friel had a goal and two assists. Cabrini's dominance continued in the second quarter, with the Cavaliers scoring twice more to take an 11-1 lead into intermission. Villa Julie never cut the deficit under 10 goals the rest of the way. Sophomore Kevin Quinn made 13 saves for the Cavaliers. Travis Phipps made eight saves for the Mustangs after relieving Chase Polhemus in the first quarter. Polhemus made one save. Cabrini outshot Villa Julie 40-33 in the contest. The Cavaliers were 1-for-4 with the man advantage. The Mustangs scored four times in 15 man-up opportunities. |
