| RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's lacrosse team extended its current win streak to seven games as the Cavaliers posted a 16-1 win ov r the visiting Whittier College Poets today at Edith Robb Dixon Field. Junior Bobby Thorp continued his hot week with his second eight point outing of the week. The junior scored three goals and added five assists. Senior Brian Hill recorded his second five goal game of the season. Sophomore Corey Elmer opened the Cavaliers' scoring three minutes into the game. Fellow sophomore Matt Biegel scored the first of his three goals with five minutes to play in the opening quarter. Thorp added a goal with 3:45 to play before Hill took over. The senior continued Cabrini's momentum with a pair of goals in the quarter's final nine seconds. Hill then opened the second quarter with his third tally in one minute of action. Forty seconds later, freshman Damian Sobieski scored his 12th goal of the season. Thorp and Hill each scored a pair of goal in the second quarter. Biegel's goal with 40 seconds to play before half gave the Blue and White a 12-0 lead after 30 minutes of action. Junior J.T. Ervin scored his fourth goal of the season six minutes into the third quarter before Elmer found the net for the second time. Biegel completed his hat trick with just over four minutes to play in the third. Freshman Enrique Montoya's fourth goal of the season ended Cabrini's scoring with 1:40 to play. Whittier's Lucas Paratore added a goal in the final minute of the third quarter. Junior Brandon Dunn and freshman Anthony DiNenno got the Cavaliers rolling on offense, winning 13 of 19 faceoffs. The Cavaliers will welcome Centenary Collge on Wednesday to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Wednesday.
