The Game Story:
WATERVILLE, Maine ≠--- Caddy Brooks (Darien, Conn.) had four goals and three assists as the Colby College menís lacrosse team posted a 13-5 win over University of Southern Maine on Tuesday at Bill Alfond Field.

Rob Dudley (New Canaan, Conn.) added three goals for the Mules (3-9). Todd Boertzel (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) and Whit McCarthy (Darien, Conn.) both had two goals and one assist. Sam Kennedy (Cumberland, Maine) and Kyle Haskett (San Francisco, Calif.) also tallied for the winners.

Colby opened up a 3-0 lead after the first quarter and led 5-1 at halftime. The Mules tallied four more times in the third quarter to pull away.

Dan Jackson (Orlando, Fla.) led Southern Maine (3-9) with three goals and one assist. Lee Gauthier (Berwick, Maine) had one goal and one assist, while Matt Manson (Leeds, Maine) had one goal.

Colby first-year goalie Tom Gianakos (Simsbury, Conn.) stopped eight shots in his first collegiate start in net. USM goalie James Suriyodom (Deer Park, N.Y.) finished with 21 saves.
