| TOWSON, Md. -- A five-goal, four-assist performance by Dan Flamholz (Park School) propelled Goucher to a 14-3 Capital Athletic Conference victory over York today. Flamholz tallied the first two goals of the contest, providing the Gophers (3-2, 1-1 CAC) with a 2-0 advantage before the game was even two minutes old. The sophomore attackman asssisted a pair of goals by Ross Nochumowitz (Park School) in the second period as Goucher enjoyed a 7-1 lead at the break. Flamholz had a goal and an assist in the third quarter, which ended with the Gophers ahead 9-1. In the fourth quarter, he wrapped up his career-high nine-point effort with an assist on a goal by Brent Shea (Fallston) and a pair of extra-man goals only :39 apart. Adam Cross scored two goals for the Spartans (1-2, 0-1 CAC). |
