| HAVERFORD, Pa. Ė The No.19 ranked Haverford College menís lacrosse team scored 14 unanswered goals in a 14-2 victory over Fairleigh-Dickinson Florham on Saturday afternoon at the Haverford School. Brian Fleishhacker scored seven goals and had three assists. Dean Granoff scored three times and Andrew Kim added two for the Fords.|
Peter Fleming scored the games first goal just 1:14 into the contest. From that point on Haverford (2-0) held FDU-Florham scoreless for the next 54:08 of the contest. The Fords defense allowed just 19 shots for the game and goalie Jake Mendinger tallied eight saves.
Granoff answered back 22 seconds later with a goal from the right wing. Haverford went on to score 13 more goals before FDU-Florham got on the board again with less than six minutes remaining in the game. Fleishhacker scored twice and Kim once to give HC a 4-1 advantage after the first period. Max Hjelm, Fleishhacker and Kim all scored in the second period to up the Fords lead to 7-1 at the half.
The Fords scored seven more goals in the second half. Fleishhacker added four goals in the half. For the game, Haverford out shot FDU-Florham 45-19.
Haverford remains home next Saturday, hosting Lynchburg at Walton Field at 1 p.m.
