The Game Story:
The No. 8 Ithaca menís lacrosse team (3-0) rallied from a pair of three-goal deficits and won 12-7 against Oneonta Wednesday at Schoellkopf Field. Bomber senior midfielder Chris Carman (Monte Vista/Alamos, Calif.) recorded career highs in goals (3), assists (4) and points (7) in the victory.

Senior midfielder Kevin Bush (Arapahoe [Colo.]/St. George Island, Fla.) had a team-leading four goals in the game and added an assist. He now has 97 points in his Bomber career.

The Bombers trailed 5-2 and 6-3 in the game, but scored seven-straight goals in the second half to take control of the game. Senior attackman Alec Siefert (Duxbury/Duxbury, Mass.) scored all three of his goals in the second half, and has a team-leading 12 goals on the year.

Senior midfielder Matt Cutter (Needham/Needham, Mass.) scored twice and junior attackman Nic Heckman (Sparta/Sparta, N.J.) had two assists. Senior goalie Ben Connery (Homer/Homer) made five saves in the second half and earned the victory, his first of the season.

Senior All-American defenseman Neth Wiedemann (Episcopal School of Dallas/Dallas, Texas) had career-highs with 10 ground balls and five caused turnovers. The Ithaca defense held Oneonta to just two goals in the second half.

Ithaca won 14 of 23 face offs in the game, led by sophomore Michael Hennessy (Owen J. Roberts/Spring City) with 11 wins.
