| GAMBIER, Ohio - Hamilton College's Jim Henry '05 scored three goals to lead the undefeated Continentals to a 9-6 nonleague win at Kenyon College on March 26. Hamilton (6-0 overall) is off to its best start since the 1982 squad won 13 straight games and finished 13-1. The Continentals put their perfect record on the line at home against SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday, March 30, at 5 p.m. Henry is tied for second in school history with 160 points and is fourth all-time in goals with 85. Mike Daley '07 and Clark Winter '07 added two goals apiece. Jack Newton '06 was credited with a goal and three assists. Newton has five goals and four assists in the last two games. Travis Modic '07 chipped in a goal and Ethan Shoemaker '07 made 11 saves. George Earle '05 and Marc Albu '08 combined to win 15-of-19 faceoffs. Albu also had six ground balls. Sean Wheeler led Kenyon (2-3) with two goals and two assists. Brad Harvey registered a goal and an assist. Dave Neiman made ten saves. Hamilton led 4-3 at the break before scoring the first three goals of the third period. Daley, Modic and Henry had the goals during the run. Kenyon pulled to within 8-6 on a goal by Sean O'Neill with 8:49 left in the fourth quarter, but Henry scored unassisted to clinch the victory with 1:28 remaining. |
