King's College vs. Fdu-florham

The Game Story:
WILKES-BARRE – The King’s College men’s lacrosse team dropped a 13-5 decision to Middle Atlantic Conference frontrunner FDU-Florham Saturday at McCarthy Stadium.

With the loss, the Monarchs slipped to 2-11 overall and 1-7 in MAC games. FDU, meanwhile, improved to 11-3 and 9-0 in the MAC

Drew Canfield, Adam Koontz, Paul Colflesh, Pat O’Brien, and Jason Koontz scored two goals each to pace the Devil attack.

Curtis Reinard scored twice for the Monarchs while Matt Sweazey added one goal and one assist. Rusty Booth and T.J. Lyon chipped in with one goal each for the Monarchs.

Tim Cassi made 16 saves for King’s while Alex Kajencki posted five stops for the Devils. FDU outshot King’s 49-19 and held a 33-32 edge in ground balls.

King’s returns to action Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. matchup at Misericordia University at Anderson Field in Dallas.
