The Game Story:
Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-- The King's College men's lacrosse team posted its highest offensive output of the season as they defeated visiting Immaculata 18-6 at McCarthy Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The Monarchs improved to 3-5 overall on the season while Immaculata dropped to 0-9. King's out shot the Mighty Macs 55-24 on the game and controlled 19 of the 26 faceoffs.

Lenny Fox opened the scoring at 11:37 in the first quarter. Immaculata knotted the game at one on a Ben Tuscai goal at the 8:51 mark. The Monarchs netted the next three goals to open up the lead and never looked back.

King's took a 9-3 lead into the lockerroom at the half and came out of the break and tallied four goals in the third quarter capped by a Kieran McMahon tally to push the lead to 13-4.

Mike O'Brien paced the Monarchs offensive effort with four goals and three assists. Fox and Pat Bonnot each found the back of the net three times. McMahon and A.J. Bungert posted two goals apiece. Kevin Sweeney, Billy McCollough, Jamie Downs and Michael Whitfield each posted a goal.

Tuscai led the Mighty Macs with three goals. Bhelly Bagbonon chipped in a pair of goals and Tayler Acree added a tally.

The Monarchs continue their non-conference slate on Saturday when they host Oberlien at 1:00 p.m.
