The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team emerged from Shellenberger Field with a 20-5 victory over Greensboro College on Wednesday night.

Lynchburg scored the first seven goals of the game, all in the first quarter, and never looked back. LC was led by Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield), who scored five goals on just five shots. Brian McCulloch (Annandale, VA/WT Woodson), Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/Henderson), Kolter Livengood (Dallas, TX/Highland Park), and Michael Mundorf (Cantonsville, MD/Mt. Saint Joseph) each had two goals apiece. Kyle Fortman (Gambrills, MD/Archbishop Spaulding) contributed with two assists, while the trio of Norby King (Bryn Mawr, PA/Cardinal O’Hara), Ethan Farrell (Nantucket, MA/Nantucket), and Chet Corey (Corrboro, NC/Chapel Hill) combined to go 16-24 on face-offs.

Five Greensboro players found the back of the net, with Neal McKinney contributing with a goal and one assist. Lynchburg (10-2) out shot the Pride (4-8) 53-25, won the groundball battle 42-29, and controlled 17 of the 28 face-offs.

Lynchburg returns to the field on Saturday against Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Hampden-Sydney College at 7 pm. Saturday also marks Senior Day for the Hornets and Shellenberger Field Dedication day.
