The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team won its school-record seventh-straight game Saturday with a 12-2 victory over Randolph-Macon College in an ODAC contest behind four goals and an assist from sophomore Kevin Reinecke (Crofton, MD/Arundel).

The score was 4-2 at halftime before the Hornets, ranked #18 in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Poll, scored eight unanswered goals to end the game. Junior attack man Kip Campbell (Fork Union, VA/FUMA) had three scores, junior attack Paul Venturella (Millersville, MD/Old Mill) scored twice and added three assists while freshman Billy McCulloch (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) tallied two goals and one assist. Chase Gompers (Crofton, MD/Arundel) also added a goal and Chris Johnson (Chantilly, VA/Centreville) made four stops in net.

Steve Fuller and James Lentz each scored for Randolph-Macon (3-5/0-1 ODAC). F.J Federico made 19 saves.

The Hornets outshot the Yellow Jackets 45-14, and senior Jon Gilden (Pikesville, MD/Park School) gave LC ball control by winning 16 of the game's 17 face-offs.

The Hornets (7-1/1-0 ODAC) host Washington & Lee University Saturday in another ODAC matchup.
