The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA Top ranked Salisbury University defeated #6 Lynchburg College 15-5 on Saturday in a non-conference game on Shellenberger Field.

Lynchburg started off the game on a 3-0 run, but Salisbury scored 11 of the next 12 goals to take an 11-4 lead. LC was held scoreless for 31:25 - spanning from 1:44 of the first quarter until the 19 seconds left in the third quarter. Salisbury scored the last four goals of the game.

Greg Titus scored four goals for the Seagulls, Kylor Berkman netted three goals, and Brett Yoder has two goals and four assists. Austin Jeter (Coppell, TX/Episcopal) led the Hornets with two goals, while Tyler Tolson (Lutehrville, MD/Loyola Blakefield), Brian McCulloch (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) and Stephen Weis (St. Louis, MO/Christian Brothers) each found the back of the net. Garrett Curran (Hull, MA/Tabor Academy) made 13 saves for Lynchburg while Ryan DeRose won 16 of 17 face-offs for Salisbury.

Salisbury (13-0) outshot the Hornets (8-2) 41-24 and had a decisive 51-24 advantage in ground balls. Salisbury also won 21 of 24 face-offs.

Lynchburg (8-2) looks to rebound by traveling to Randolph-Macon College on Saturday for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference game at 1 p.m. in Ashland, VA.
