The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA - The fourth ranked Lynchburg College men's lacrosse
team, behind seven Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield)
goals, defeated the visiting Trinity (CT) College Bantams 16-8 in a
non-conference game on Wednesday.



Stephen Weis (St. Louis, MO/Christian Brothers) contributed with
three goals and two assists, while Austin Jeter (Coppell,
TX/Episcopal) and Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/Henderson) each
found the back of the net twice and added a helper apiece. Garrett
Curran (Hull, MA/Tabor Academy) allowed just six goals and stopped
nine shots in net for the Hornets.



Trinity (CT) College was led by Rob Mountain, who scored three goals
and added an assist, and Adam Cox with three goals as well. The
Bantams won 18 of the 27 face-offs, with Connor Wells winning 12 of
his 15 attempts. Trinity (CT) won the groundball battle 36-34 and
outshot the Hornets 39-33.



Lynchburg goes to 6-0 on the season while Trinity College falls to
2-1. Lynchburg's next game is on the road on Saturday, March 24, at
Villa Julie College in Stevenson, MD. Game time is set for 1 pm.
