LYNCHBURG, VA - Andrew Barnett scored four goals to lead the Washington & Lee University men's lacrosse team to a 15-11 win Saturday over Lynchburg College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup.

The Hornets, ranked 14th in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Poll, scored the first three goals of the contest before the General offense got untracked. Washington & Lee, ranked 5th in the USILA, answered with five straight tallies to take a 5-3 advantage early in the second period. Goals by Logan Short (Lewes, DE/Cape Henlopen) and Kevin Reinecke (Crofton, MD/Arundel) pulled LC back to within 11-10 entering the final stanza. The Generals scored the first three goals of the fourth and held on for the victory.
