The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA - Senior attack Billy McCulloch (Annandale,
VA/W.T. Woodson) scored four times and added three assists Wednesday
as the eighth-ranked Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team defeated
The College of Wooster 14-4 in non-conference play.



LC led just 5-4 at halftime, as Wooster's Shawn Hardy
scored three times. The second half was all Lynchburg, as the Hornets
outscored the Fighting Scots 9-0 after intermission.



Freshman Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/B. Reed
Henderson) scored three times for Lynchburg, Brian McCulloch
(Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) had two goals and an assist and Brian
Kemper (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) posted a goal and an assist. Junior
Scott McAlee (Burke, VA/Lake Braddock) scored a goal and won seven of
his 12 face-off attempts. Keeper Garrett Curran (Hull, MA/Tabor
Academy) made seven saves and scored a goal in the early fourth
quarter.



Handy had three tallies and added an assist for Wooster
(2-2). Lynchburg out shot the Fighting Scots 29-22, and won 11 of the
18 face-offs opportunities.



The Hornets (5-0) travel to Messiah College Saturday for
a non-conference game at 3 p.m.
