The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA - Senior attack Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield) scored four goals Wednesday to lead the 11th-ranked Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team to a comfortable 17-7 win against visiting Muhlenberg College (PA).

The Hornets opened the game with a 3-0 lead in the first quarter and held a 7-1 advantage late in the second quarter. Muhlenberg scored two straight goals, but LC put the game out of reach with eight-straight second half goals.

Michael Mundorf (Cambridge, MD/Mt. Saint Joseph) and Eddie Bilinkas (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) each had two goals and two assists, and Andrew Wilfong (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne) and Kyle Fortman (Gambrills, MD/Archbishop Spaulding) tallied two goals apiece. Dylan Hoff (Chester Springs, PA/Downingtown East) posted a goal and two assists while Kevin Donahue (Ipswich, MA/Tabor Academy) and Chris Eggeling (Barrington, RI/PCD) each added a goal an assist. Freshman net-minder Franc Cook (Milton, DE/Cape Henlopen) allowed just four goals in his 51 minutes, and made eight saves.

The Mules (0-2) had seven different players score, with John DeLuca and Brent Siebold each having a goal and an assist. Lynchburg outshot its guests 37-31, but Muhlenberg gained possession of 14 of the games 27 face offs. The Hornets converted on all three of their extra-man opportunities.
