| LYNHBCURG, VA - Sophomore attack Dylan Hoff (Chester springs, PA/Downington East) tallied five goals Saturday evening as the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 17-2 win over visiting Mount Saint Joseph (Ohio). Hoff scored the game's first two goals and three of the first four as LC had edges of 3-0 after one period and 8-0 at halftime and never looked back. Eddie Bilinkas (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) and Ethan Farrell (Nantucket, MA/Nantucket) each had two goals and an assist and Tyler Burford (West Friendship, MD/Glenelg) had two goals. Andrew Wilfong (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne) and Pat Ohrem (Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield) each posted a goal and two assists, while Austin Jeter (Coppell, TX/Episcopal School of Dallas) had a goal and an assist. Keeper Franc Cook (Milton, DE/Cape Henlopen) made six saves and allowed no goal in over 40 minutes of action for LC. Brennen Green (Lake Oswego, OR/Lake Oswego) won nine of his 11 face-off attempts. LC outshot the Lions (0-3) 57-20 and had a 54-32 ground ball edge. The Hornets (1-2) host Swarthmore Wednesday at 2 p.m. |
