| The university of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team used four goals from junior Dan Coats in defeating Marymount University, 10-9, on Friday at the Battleground. The Eagles close the regular season with an 8-6 record, and advance to the Capital Athletic Conference tournament, where they will visit Salisbury University on Monday at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles led, 3-2, after the first quarter, as Coats scored a pair of goals and Ryan Motyka scored one. The Eagles outscored the Saints, 2-1, in the second, thanks to scores from Coats and senior Sean Brown, to lead, 5-3, at halftime.
