| Trailing 8-4 in the fourth quarter, #4 ranked Salisbury scored the
final six goals of the game to rally for a 10-8 Capital Athletic
Conference win at Mary Washington on Friday. Sophomore attackman Cory
O'Neil keyed the comeback with three goals and one assist in the final
10 minutes.
Sophomore midfielder Scott Simmons finished with three goals and freshman attackman Chris Phillips had two goals and two assists for the Sea Gulls (3-0 overall, 3-0 CAC). Freshman goalie Dan Korpon finished with 15 saves. Matt Wiles led Mary Washington (1-2 overall, 0-1 CAC) with four goals. Salisbury is back at home Sunday against York at 1 p.m. |
