Marymount vs. Moravian

The Game Story:
Moravian closed out its spring break trip with an 11-10 loss at Marymount (VA) University. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 1-0 lead and lead 2-1 in the first quarter before the Saints tied the match. Marymount used a five-goal second quarter to take a 7-3 halftime lead. Moravian would out score the Saints, 6-2, in the third quarter to tie the match at 9-9. However, Marymount scored twice in the final 15 minutes to Moravian's one goal for the victory. Sophomore attack Daniel Larson led Moravian with three goals and two assists while sophomore attack Clint Quedenfeld had five points on a goal and four assists. Sophomore attack Nick Caciutti added three goals, all three scored with a man advantage. Sophomore midfielder Ken Blom added two goals with one extra-man tally while freshman attack Scott Jackson had a goal. Jackson led Moravian with seven ground balls and added five face-off wins while sophomore midfielder T.J. Hirsch won six face-offs and added six ground balls for the Greyhounds. Quedenfeld also had four ground balls in the match. Freshman goalie Peter Coutros made ten saves in goal for Moravian.
