The Mustangs stuck with the Corsairs following with a Leo Shidler (Peabody, MA/Peabody) goal from senior Brett Conley (Fairfield, CT/Fairfield Warde) tying it again at 2-2 at the end of the first.
The Mustangs were non-existent in the second set while the visitors thrived with three consecutive goals taking the outright 5-2 advantage. Two goals from Foster, including his second on a man-up possession, and another from Leary helped the Corsairs dominate the field in the second quarter with Mount Ida coming up short heading into the locker room.
The third quarter started with the Corsairs netting their fourth consecutive score, coming off Leary's third of the day, making it 6-2 early in the third quarter. Finally the Mustangs answered with a goal from Conley, his first of the game, off a dish from Shidler making it 6-3 visitors.

Not two minutes later, Zach Jacobson (Shoreview, MN/Moundsview) answered on a man-up possession off a feed from Conley trailing 9-5.
